Plasma Engine Explorer: wettercom invalid for Mukatschewo and Berlin, bbcukmet
valid for Lviv
Plasma 6.7.5, EndeavourOS. Weather Report widget.
Until 2026-10-01 The widget found Mukachevo (Mukacheve) and Uzhhorod ( Ukraine
) through wetter.com. Now the city search returns "No weather stations found"
for both.
Other providers still work. For example, Lviv is found through BBC.
I checked the wetter.com ion directly with plasmaengineexplorer --engine
weather:
wettercom|validate|Berlin -> wettercom|invalid|multiple|Berlin
bbcukmet|validate|Lviv -> bbcukmet|valid|single||place|Lviv, Ukraine,
UA|extra|702550
So wetter.com returns "invalid" even for Berlin, while BBC works.
The wetter.com website itself is working and shows Mukachevo (as "Mukatschewo")
curl to wetter.com returns HTTP 200. No plasma packages were updated since
2026-09-10
Steps to reproduce: run plasmaengineexplorer --engine weather, enter
"weattercom|validate|Berlin" as the source name, expand the new source.
Expected: a valid result with found locations.
Actual: wettercom|invalid|multiple|Berlin
