Hi,
I tested this and found a quicker and less destructive reproduction setup:
1. Create the following file structure somewhere:
├── test
│   ├── file1
└── test2
    └── test
        └── file2
2. In dolphin, move test into test2.
3. Press Ctrl-Z

Expected result:
├── test
│   ├── file1
└── test2
    └── test
        └── file2

Observed result:
├── test
│   ├── file1
└── test2
    └── test
        └── file2
And it gives an error banner at the top saying "Could not remove folder
/path/to/test2/test."

Now try the setup again while acting as admin at step 2:

Expected result:
├── test
│   ├── file1
└── test2
    └── test
        └── file2

Observed result:
├── test
│   ├── file1
└── test2
(RIP test2/test/file2)

/usr is unrelated to the bug, unfortunately it's owned by root and can't be
edited without acting as admin. RIP OP's system. Really unfortunate situation.
