            Bug ID: 526838
Summary: Clipboard action selection could be easier/quicker
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First master
       Reported In:
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Clipboard widget & pop-up
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

When there are many possible actions for a copied item, mouseless selection of
the desired action becomes inconvenient.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create an action with many associated commands. For instance, an action with
pattern .* and, say, 10 commands actionable from that pattern
2. Copy some text and invoke the action menu
3. Invoke the 6th command using the keyboard

OBSERVED RESULT
The only ways are either
- pressing the down-arrow key 6 times
- pressing the up-arrow key 6 times

EXPECTED RESULT
There should/could be a one-key-press way available in most situations.
Some solutions could be, in the pop-up list of invokable commands:
A. Automatically number the available commands so that the first 10 can be
invoked by pressing a num key
B. Allow the user to setup a key shortcut. For instance, if command "My 1st
command" is actually named "My [1]st command" or "[M]y 1st command", pressing
Alt would underscore "1" or "M" respectively, and pressing Alt+1 or Alt+M would
invoke the command
C. Or do that automatically for the user: make the first letter of the first
command a shortcut for that command; for the next command, if the first letter
is free, make it a shortcut for that command, else try the second letter, and
so on...
