Igor Mironchik <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Igor Mironchik <[email protected]> --- Started to fill duplicate. Will save here... DESCRIPTION After launching from context menu in Krusader "Extract -> Extract here" and opening other folder in Krusader begins to place files to that location where Krusader was last, not in the beginning folder. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open folder with large archive, like qt-everywhere-src-6.11.2.tar.xz 2. In Krusader from context menu launch "Extract -> Extract here" 3. Wait for real extracting of some files (you should see first files in Krusader) 4. Switch to other panel with different opened folder OBSERVED RESULT Before switching to other folder files were placed where they should be. After switching to other folder files start to place to that folder. This happens because in Krusader in: void ListPanelFunc::doRefresh() { ... // on local file system change the working directory if (files()->isLocal()) QDir::setCurrent(KrServices::urlToLocalPath(files()->currentDirectory())); Krusader changes QDir::setCurrent(), extracting plugin uses QDir::currentPath() for placing files, and things happen... EXPECTED RESULT "Extract -> Extract here" should place in beginning folder with no matter what Krusader or other application using ark plugin will use QDir::setCurrent().
