I am glad that you were able to at least partially reproduce the issue with the globally saved window layout in the Flatpak version. I noticed that you had already worked on bug 513933 and +marked it as fixed back in February. There might be a connection here. May I ask if you intend to investigate the cause of this new issue further? We have observed that, after closing KPhotoAlbum, neither the global nor the database-specific window layout is preserved. The corresponding checkboxes are also unchecked after a restart. Would it make sense to take a closer look at how the settings are saved in `kphotoalbumstaterc`?
