--- Comment #11 from Lassi Väätämöinen <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Christoph Cullmann from comment #9) > Would it make sense to add it, without root dir, or is it too unusable then? > Would at least hint users how to use it. Without the root it seems quite unusable for me, as you need to open the TCL files before, for example, any of the reference jump functionality ("go to definition", etc.). As a user, I would think the whole point of this kind of functionality is to guide you to the place in code that you might not know. If you need to open the files to jump into, then you already need to know what files contains what. (In reply to Waqar Ahmed from comment #10) > yes adding the server is always welcome. > > Whether the settings should have "root" or not is something for you to > decide, whatever works best would be good. I'm not sure what would be good now. I'm trying this on Kdevelop: "rootIndicationFilePatterns": ["*.kdev4"], This spawns about 20 tcl-lsp-server processes. BUT: I have a relatively large project, as 'find' could spot *.tcl files in 360 directories. And trying this with Kate: "root": "." ... and opening a TCL file, in that same 360-directory project, it initially caused a surge of about 26, or more, tcl-lsp-servers. But then the number drops to around 19-20 processes. And they sit at 0% CPU use most of the time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
