--- Comment #2 from Victor <[email protected]> ---
Confirming attachment 196944 works, tested on a second system.

System: CachyOS (Arch-based), Plasma on Wayland, krdp serving a Windows Remote
Desktop Connection client (mstsc.exe), software encoding (libx264 was in use).

What I did:
- Applied attachment 196944 to the v6.7.91 tag with git apply. It applied
cleanly to src/libx264encoder.cpp and src/libopenh264encoder.cpp, and the tree
compiled without errors.
- Ran krdpserver against the patched libKPipeWire (checked /proc/<pid>/maps to
make sure the patched libraries were the ones loaded). Before: the RDP desktop
looked washed out.
With the patch: colors look correct. The log showed libx264 as the encoder.
- The same patch also passes git apply --check against the v6.8.0 tag. git diff
shows no change to these two source files between v6.7.91, v6.8.0 and current
master, so it should apply as-is to all three.

I then built kpipewire 6.8.0 with the patch in prepare() and installed it. krdp
now shows correct colors on 6.8.0 as well.]

Since the fix is still unmerged in 6.8.0, it would be good to get this into a
6.8.x bugfix release.

I used an AI assistant (Claude) to "check my work" while building and testing;
the testing and results are mine.
