--- Comment #4 from TraceyC <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Rafael Linux User from comment #3) > I wrote in my native language because the window that appeared following the > Plasma interface crash displayed everything in that language That's a fair observation. The Crash Handler that comes up could make it clear we need bug report text to be written in English. I've submitted a feature request for Dr Konqi about this in bug 527081 > I also fail to understand why KDE’s bug-tracking system doesn't include a > translation button, a feature found on platforms like Reddit. Fair question. We use Bugzilla for bug reports, which is not developed by us. It's unfortunately not as feature rich as other ticket systems, or Reddit. It has a very small team of developers working on it, and doesn't make millions per year like Reddit does. We are allowed to use it for free, which is a huge benefit to everyone. We might be able to add a translation feature to Dr Konqi, which would help with crash reports as you suggest. Feel free to submit a feature request for that here: https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=drkonqi&component=general Fortunately, there are multiple free online translation tools users have access to. > submit information in their desktop environment's language without being > reprimanded To be fair, I asked you to "please" write in English, phrased as a request. The developers will need to look into this crash. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
