Entering Vi mode, and pressing "o" or "O" key inserts an empty line, but no crash. The backtrace leading to the crash does not mention kdevelop except for the "#44 0x000055b736c61093 in main" frame, so I think this might be a bug in KTextEditor rather than in KDevelop.
