Sorry if I sounded not respectful,

KDE desktop is currently the only desktop which provides us a really light
desktop with a lot of customization to the point you can transform it to
anything you were using before adopting Linux, plus it has a lot of high
quality and updated apps in all categories. So when you embrace Plasma you
become attached to it and sometimes can get angry if things get broken. So I'm
sorry again. I know it takes a lot of effort and time to maintain this great
and complex desktop.

I waited until 6.8.1 was released to avoid breaking things, and wanted to test
on a old laptop (dual core T4400) which is used at home by my sister, because
on this machine things were much slower and laggy (visible by eyes), and I
solved them by disabling all effects and animations so she can use it to do
basic tasks.

After upgrading to 6.8.1, I enabled all effects (including blur), and the
surprise is the desktop feels much faster than 6.7.5, launcher appears faster,
and even the animations in logout screen are smooth without any mouse lagging,
the system tray widgets appears also faster, also those maximize and minimize
windows effects are fine, I don't know what happened but things are really
good for now, this is the kinfo of this laptop:

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.8.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.31.0
Qt Version: 6.12.0
Kernel Version: 7.2.12-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 2 × Pentium® Dual-Core CPU T4400 @ 2.20GHz
Memory: 6 GiB of RAM (5.6 GiB usable)
Graphics Processor: Mesa Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset

With all effects enabled I launched the debug console, then started a video on
youtube (480p), and fps seems to reach average 50 fps, then unloaded blur and
it reached above 55 fps (see attached image1.png). For now even with blur
things are working fine without long delay.

The only animation which remains slow is the maximize and minimize of those
open/save dialogs, it's takes around 2seconds to finish.

Test was done without using night light, because the moment you select always
on and click apply the whole plasma desktop become slow and mouse lags to reach
targets.
