I've noticed that when I close all Ungoogled Chromium windows, it can still hang in the background for a while simply because the shutdown process lags due to the large number of windows and tabs. And status icon appear in sys tray for a while (Also, this may be caused by the first toggle for background activity in the settings at `chrome://settings/system`). Also if i set work in background in Amberol settings and close the window the status icon appear in sys tray. 💡So I've come to the conclusion that the status icons appears in the system tray for all Flatpak apps running in the background while the app window is closed. This behavior is perfectly acceptable as long as you have the option to turn the display of the second icon on and off separately.
