mpe <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from mpe <[email protected]> --- I can reproduce this issue with Krusader on CachyOS, KDE Plasma, and Wayland. **Steps to reproduce:** 1. Configure one display to use 150% scaling and another to use 100%. 2. Open Krusader on the display with 150% scaling. 3. Navigate through files using the Up/Down arrow keys. 4. Observe that parts of the selection border remain visible at the previously selected row. 5. Click elsewhere in the window to trigger a repaint. The artifacts disappear. **Observations:** - **150% scaling:** Issue reproducible. - **100% scaling:** No artifacts. - **Different Qt widget style (Fusion):** Does not resolve the issue. - **XWayland (`QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb krusader`):** Does not resolve the issue. - **Qt rounding policy (`QT_SCALE_FACTOR_ROUNDING_POLICY=Round krusader`):** Completely resolves the issue. - With the `Round` policy, Krusader's visual appearance and apparent UI size remain unchanged. **Conclusion:** The behavior suggests an issue with fractional scaling and pixel rounding, potentially involving incomplete repaint regions when moving the selection. The fact that switching to XWayland does not help, while changing Qt's rounding policy does, suggests this is not exclusive to the native Wayland platform plugin. **Working workaround:** ```bash QT_SCALE_FACTOR_ROUNDING_POLICY=Round krusader ``` This resolves the rendering artifacts without any noticeable visual differences on my setup.
