--- Comment #5 from Gernot Federspiel <[email protected]> ---
I'm not entirely sure, but I believe to remember that at the time that fix came
out six month ago I did experiment with it and found it didn't fix the issue,
so in frustration I had a conversation with an AI which came with a solution
that worked for me:
I am still using the EQ in pipewire.conf.d, but I'm now also using
wireplumber.conf.d to define my headphone jack up as non-available for general
business:

> priority.session = 1
> priority.driver = 1
> device.intended-roles = "Internal"
> node.virtual = true

and have the eq's output (playback.props) connect specifically to it:

> node.target = "alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1f.3.analog-stereo"

which sidesteps the whole issue. The headphone jack now never gets
automatically chosen as the output anymore, leaving only the EQ port and (when
connected) the BlueTooth device.
Does this mean it's resolved? For me, I guess so.
