            Bug ID: 528178
Summary: Dragging tabs to re-arrange them requires precision
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kwi
      Version First dev
       Reported In:
          Platform: Flatpak
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Keywords: usability
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

When dragging a tab, it sticks to your pointer.

This is great if your intention is to drag it to the tab bar on another window,
which works beautifully!

But if your intention was to re-arrange it on its tab bar, you need to be very
careful to keep the pointer over the tab bar while dragging. If it goes even a
little bit outside the tab bar, you can't drop the tab anymore.

IMO the best tab bars combine the best of both worlds: they allow dragging a
tab off the bar, but only after the point moves, say, 50px away from the bar.
Within that area, the tab can only be re-arranged on its tab bar, even if the
pointer strays away from the exact bounds of the bar bar a little bit. This is
more forgiving of sloppy pointer movement.
