Walter Clements <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from Walter Clements <[email protected]> --- I can reproduce a related issue that also prevents Ruffle (the Flash emulator) from working in Falkon. System: Debian GNU/Linux 13 (Trixie) Architecture: ARM64 (aarch64) Desktop: Xfce 4.20 Display server: X11 System locale: C.UTF-8 Steps to reproduce: Set Falkon's language to "C" in Preferences → Other → Language. Restart Falkon. Visit https://ruffle.rs/demo/ or https://mspa.chadthundercock.com/homestuck/307. Observe that the Ruffle player does not appear. JavaScript console errors: Uncaught RangeError: Incorrect locale information provided at new Locale (<anonymous>) at br (...) at e.localize (...) Followed by: Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: this.player?.ruffle is not a function I also tested WebAssembly in the developer console: typeof WebAssembly returned "object". WebAssembly.validate(new Uint8Array([0,97,115,109,1,0,0,0])) returned true. Workaround: Changing Falkon's application language from "C" to English and restarting Falkon fixes the problem. Ruffle then works. This suggests the invalid locale is preventing Ruffle from initializing. The issue affects websites using Ruffle, not only Falkon's developer tools. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
