Niccolò Venerandi <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] Resolution|--- |UPSTREAM Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #19 from Niccolò Venerandi <[email protected]> --- All reports here are from NVIDIA's proprietary driver on Wayland. The trigger is the file descriptor leak in NVIDIA's egl-wayland with explicit sync (https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/fd-leak-with-explicit-sync-and-kde-plasma/317293): once plasmashell runs out of file descriptors, its D-Bus connection fails and it aborts. NVIDIA says it's fixed in egl-wayland2, which newer drivers use by default, and comment 18 confirms the crashes stopped with it. If it still happens with egl-wayland2, please reopen. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
