Touchpad does not re-enable automatically on login after being disabled and
then re-enabled
Description:
After disabling the touchpad (via shortcut or System Settings) and then
enabling it again, the touchpad is not enabled on the next session or reboot.
System Settings shows it as enabled, but it stays non-functional until I
manually toggle it.
Steps to reproduce:
Disable the touchpad.
Re-enable the touchpad and confirm it shows as enabled in System Settings.
Log out and back in, or reboot.
Observe that the touchpad does not work.
Expected result: The touchpad stays enabled across sessions.
Actual result: The touchpad remains disabled after login.
