File open dialog showing incorrect sort
Setup: Fedora 44, Plasma 6.8.2, KF 6.31.0, Qt 6.11.2, Breeze style.
Steps: open any file dialog, switch to Detail view, click the Date header, then
click it again.
What happens: newest first shows ^, and oldest first shows ˅. Name, Size and
Type columns, and Dolphin, show the arrow the right way round.
Expected: the Date arrow follows the same convention as the other columns.
Likely cause: in kdiroperator.cpp, sortOrder() reverses the order for time
sorting, but synchronizeSortingState() (the header-click handler) doesn’t. So
the header’s arrow and the actual order disagree. Also, updateSorting() never
updates the header’s arrow, so changes made from the Sort menu leave it stale.
