Yes, KWIN_DRM_USE_COLOR_PIPELINE=0 helped. But in the meantime, several more updates have been released (I'm now running Plasma 6.8.2 / KDE Frameworks 6.31.0 / Qt 6.11.1), and the problem has disappeared.
