I find a similar problem on my Suse Leap 42.2 system when searching files dwith
Dolphin by name.
Dolphin does not deliver any search result if I go to a subfolder of my home
directory and I choose to search "from here". But after I change the search
properties to "search everywhere" Dolphin delivers the expected search results.
After I deactivate "file search" in the "system settings" of KDE, the Dolphin
search tool works normal. This odd behaviour has already been mentioned in
earlier comments of this bug report.
