I am trying the application “KDevelop 5.1.0-25.1” out again. I have noticed
that the display for the column number besides the editor window can be
different from the value which is shown by other well-known editing tools if
the text line contains “special” characters like tabs.
It seems that I need to switch the guide line display on then for changes I am
interested in occasionally.
My current observation is similar to information in the bug report “cursor
column position is incorrect”.
