The resolution claimed for the previous bug report was that this was / is to be fixed at 16.04.2, which obviously isn't the case. I presumed that it would be the case and lived with the problem until 16.04.2 came to me via regular updates. If I needed to / still need to take this up with the distro maintainers, then you should just say so instead of blaming the user for not having up-to-date packages.
