Dragon player, although has it's own buggs, plays the video fine when used with the 'Open With' menu option, but the embedded player for ark has a large black square in the upper left corner of the video. If this is indeed Dragon player, let me know and I'll open a bug report over there. Is it really necessary to use an embedded an player here? I don't often play videos from within Ark, but when I do, I'd rather them play with my chosen player. I use VLC for the simple reason that Dragon Player has been buggy since it's inception.
