I know workarounds have been posted over what is nearly a decade...!!!! My keyboards all have the numeric pad that never sees much use because of this bug. I have 9 virtual desktops, and would only been massively cool if I could simply use this keypad to call them up. Please, please, PLEASE fix this bug already.
