In linux I notice this happens mostly after restarting a session on the DE,
usually (although not every single time) Krita remembers the last tag used
after reopening it within a session, especially when opening existing kra file.
My thinking is that it could be good to have the popup remember the last tag?
But if a least doesn't start empty is a major improvement.
