For those who are interested in workarounds of this issue, here's a summarize of my experience: * if you have still the second screen available after plasmashell has crashed, just plug-off and on the monitor several times until the segfault screen is shown which asks you to restart the application (plasmashell) * if you are away from your workplace and have no second screen available but the Panel isn't shown anymore: ** either try to send SIGSEGV to the plasmashell process (kill -11) ** or (you hit the bug where kscreenlocker_greet shows a blank screen, only) send a kill to the kscreenlocker_greet process -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
