I ensured whether it is not any planned resolution to remove that function since Christoph marked that as the duplicate of the bug which was marked as a wish. (Mine got too..) Though the function is happily present in the newest unstable KDE Neon Developer release. I hope they'll sort that out soon..or it's been already solved in the packages that haven't pulled out of testing repos (in my case, Arch's ones). If it is not..
