Also, you are using 3.11, which is quite old.
It is strongly recommended to use a recent version.
3.13 has just been released, and it should be easy to compile it
and install it locally.
Something like:
<untar the release tar ball somewhere>
cd somewhere
./configure --prefix=`pwd`/Inst
make -j4 install
and then
somewhere/Inst/bin/valgrind ....
