In PresentWindowsEffect::calculateWindowTransformationNatural, near the end, there is a do-while loop (if "Fill Gaps" is enabled); it seems to loop on and on, and doesn't ever exit this loop for several minutes, as mentioned by Mr. Kauffmann above.
