Trying to update or download syntax highlighting files results in the following
error:
"The list of highlightings could not be found on / retrieved from the server"
The editor first tries http://kate.kde.org/syntax/update-5.36.xml
This is redirected to http://www.kate-editor.org/syntax/update-5.36.xml which
gets a 404.
Looking in http://www.kate-editor.org/syntax/ shows that .xml files are present
for up to 5.35. 5.36 is missing though this is the version requested by the
current version in Fedora.
