Bug ID: 386235 Summary: Falkon saves temporarily downloaded files in ~ Product: Falkon Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: now...@gmail.com Reporter: kishor...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- After clicking a file download link, if I select the option to directly open the file instead of saving it, falkon saves the file in a directory in my home, like ~/falkonXXXXXX. While this folder is removed on Falkon exit, a better behaviour which wouldn't lead to temporary file clutter in ~ would be to save the files in a folder in ~/.local/tmp or /tmp. Falkon version information (from help > about Falkon): Application version 2.1.99 (40d42f12) QtWebEngine version 5.9.2 © 2010-2017 David Rosca https://www.qupzilla.com Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Falkon/2.1.99 Chrome/56.0.2924.122 Safari/537.36 I am using the falkon-git(https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/falkon-git/) package from the AUR. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
