I guess you're on Windows, not Linux?

Go to Settings/Configure Krita/Display and select the direct3d/angle renderer
instead of opengl. If that fixes the issue for you, you're suffering from a
buggy intel display driver.

I don't know what you mean with "select the save button" -- are you using the
Windows snipping tool?
