Normally, ALTER IGNORE TABLE should prevent this. I can not say why this does not work with some MySQL servers. We do the following: Install digiKam-5.8.0 again. Replace the dbconfig.xml in C:\Program Files\digiKam\data\digikam\database with this one. Start digiKam, it should not fail anymore, but do not use the current database. You use the internal server. Copy the database to SQLite with the migration tool and import it back to your internal database. Now you can use digiKam-5.8.0.
