This is rather suspicious. What Samba version and KDE Applications are you
using? If the version tag mentioned in the bug report is correct, the required
workaround for a libsmbclient 4.7 bug should be included. Weird. Can you take a
closer look and check that you are not hitting another problem? I am currently
half way around the world away from my Fedora 27 box so I cannot check if there
is some kind of issue specific to Fedora packages.
