Raphaël Jakse <raphael....@jakse.fr> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |raphael....@jakse.fr --- Comment #2 from Raphaël Jakse <raphael....@jakse.fr> --- Simply "Découvrir" may look confusing. Maybe the problem exists in English too, but I am not a native English speaker. In the title bar, I would see: Page d'accueil - Logithèque I'd argue that "Découvrir" may look confusing to users. or, if this is not acceptable: Page d'accueil - Logithèque Découvrir. - or - Page d'accueil - Logithèque Discover. But this feels like mixing languages. or: Page d'accueil - Logithèque KDE Which may even look better or: Page d'accueil - Logithèque Plasma Actually, my suggestions apply to the English version as well, where Logithèque would be "Software Center" or something like that. Users may not care that much about the actual name of the app. And Discover may feel a bit unfortunate, I'm not always using the software center to discover software, I'm using it to update and install things I already know. I'd also argue that Discover may sound like a good name in English, but not really "Découvrir" in French. This may be a matter of experience. (I would also argue that Google Play is a terrible name for an App Store, and Discover looks great in comparison. But Google Play is universally well known across Android users, which may not be the case for Discover across KDE users). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
