            Bug ID: 392236
Summary: Sometimes clicking a symbol takes me to its definition
                    when I don't want that
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 5.2.1
          Platform: Compiled Sources
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: rjvber...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

(Sorry for the slightly colloquial summary, I couldn't come up with something
better.)

>From time to time, my mouse cursor changes into the "pointing index finger"
cursor when hovering over a recognised symbol, and I am no longer able to
select that symbol. Instead, a single (double?) click takes me to the symbol
definition.

I've never been able to figure out what causes this, nor how to get out of the
mode except by going to that undesired location and then find my way back. I do
have the impression that it happens more often/easily on the slower of my 2
machines.

If auto-activation of that "goto tag" like mode is not a bug, surely there
could be some more documentation of the feature, esp. how to get back into the
regular selection mode?
