I agree, I'm hoping that somebody that knows this code could work on it if we can find a 100% reliable way of triggering the bug so at least it's easier to track it down. Although I code mainly in C and a tiny amount in C++ I'm tempted to start delving into this. KDE & Plasma is a great platform but it needs to be stable.
