I didn't know of this possibility :) now when the editor doesn't want the sound of a clip, it can be stripped off simply and quickly... AND the clip in the timeline will look differently !! without the waveform.. so it is perfect... - - - additionally, though... there could be perhaps a menu item for "video only" above the "Disable Clip" in the context menu...
