            Bug ID: 393537
Summary: Can't turn off timezone display
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.12.1
          Platform: FreeBSD Ports
                OS: FreeBSD
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Digital Clock
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: gr...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

My system has the system clock set to UTC. In the Plasma digital clock, Digital
Clock Settings -> Appearance has *use 24 hour clock* checked. Not checked are
*show date* *show seconds* and *show local time zone*. In the tab * Time
Zones*, exactly one timezone is checked: Amsterdam (CEST).

The digital clock displays the time as *13:43 (CEST)* -- so with the timezone,
even though I didn't ask for it. If I uncheck all the timezones so that "UTC /
Local" is automatically selected, then the timezone is no longer displayed, but
I get 11:43 which isn't correct either (well, that **is** the time in UTC, but
not what I wanted).

If only one timezone is selected, and *show local timezone* is off (I assume it
means "display the tz label") then no timezone indicator should be shown.
