kded, dbus in general or the systray?
Ie., does "qdbus org.kde.kded" time out, complain about no such service or just
list all modules (excluding the SNI)?

QtQuick - apparently they found a way to make it an even slower resource hog
in 5.6.
I can't imagine what the taskbar is doing other than the hover animation, but
failing dbus would rather lead to 25s (seconds!) timeouts that CPU spikes.
