            Bug ID: 395017
           Summary: Duplicated custom brushes
           Product: krita
           Version: 4.0.3
          Platform: MS Windows
                OS: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Brush engines
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: tengawa...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Any brush made by the user after Krita 4.0.3 seems to duplicate on closing and
reopening the program. It seems to be the program backing up the brush and
loading *every single backup* of that brush on reloading, ending up with
anywhere from two to four copies of a single brush. The copies also can't be
deleted in the F6 menu like a normal brush; I could only delete them by going
into the appdata/Roaming/krita/painttoppresets folder.

I understand wanting to backup a user's custom brushes (in fact, that's an
awesome idea, as someone who makes quite a few of them), but Krita loading
every single backup afterwards can make the brush menu extremely cluttered and
confusing.

This doesn't seem to affect any brushes made before Krita 4.0.3, nor any loaded
in through bundles. None of those brushes have duplicated; only brushes I've
made recently, after installing 4.0.3.
Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a screenshot before deleting the
duplicate brushes. If it happens again, I'll do so and attach it here.
