There are only the 50 images in the already loaded image model sorted. The CPU usage of MySQL is more relevant. Is it possible that digiKam still creates thumbnails in the background? Or not yet captured all the images and albums. This can take some time, even hours ... until digiKam is ready and fully available. Is a running progress bar displayed in the status bar?
