Bug ID: 396627 Summary: Slow share speed from android to PC Product: kdeconnect Version: 1.8 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: android-application Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: ghost53...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- When using the share option from within android, the speed at which the file transfer happens is in the KB range instead of what the wifi can perform at. I made a simple test of using the python SimpleHTTPServer to server up a directory and then download the same 22mb file that I tried to send to my pc using kdeconnect. The file download on the browser was pretty much instant, however when using sharing it's extremely slow when initiated from the android device. I am testing from a Samsung Galaxy S8. I am experiencing this issue on two other arch linux installs as well. I expect that the kdeconnect share speed should be the same speed as what the python simple http webserver can transfer files when I use the mobile browser. Having the share speed being big only one way is a problem -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
