Same problem for me. Recent versions of kde-connect-android do not send
notifications to the desktop. Switched back to 1.6.6 and it works again.
This problem seems to be connected to some Android versions. For example
kde-connect-android 1.8.4 and Android 4.4.4 works well. Notifications sent.
However, kde-connect-android 1.8.4 / 1.8.2 / ... and Android 7.1.2 does not
work. No notifications sent.
