As a wanted to find the bug and tried to debug the extension, I found in about:debugging from Firefox the following error message: Reading manifest: Error processing background.persistent: Event pages are not currently supported. This will run as a persistent background page. Reading manifest: Error processing key: An unexpected property was found in the WebExtension manifest. I not sure if this error is the reason why plasma-browser-extension don't work (I also tried to use it in chrome and it doesn't work either).
