I know you have said that this will be fixed in the next version BUT it has been over 8 months now and not fixed. I did notify Kali but it appears they are not going to backport kate and dolphin. This is just a couple of lines of code you all included so PLEASE!! just take it out and you all do the backporting. After all this is KDE's mistake in the first place. It would seem you all would do the "right thing" and get this fixed now not later. Please understand some of us make our living using your tools we aren't playing we have real work to do and this cripples our jobs.
