File used as an example that has been mentioned in the comments. There are two
dates in this image: 2017-02-17 and 2018-09-2018. The first is the
creation/original date of the picture, the second is the last modified date
(today). 

Ideally, Digikam should sort by date using 2017-02-17, but uses 2018-09-2018
instead.
