In terms of changing the From address itself, that can't be done due to the previously mentioned DMARC issues. Doesn't exist with mailing lists as the authorised sender actually sent it. We attach our signature to mail that passes through KDE.org lists for legacy reasons - that setup predates the existence of DMARC. It doesn't harm (or help) things though.
