--- Comment #38 from kyri...@alumni.princeton.edu --- I tried the reverse, which may help reproduce the problem: In a working system (Oxygen Look and Feel, Air Desktop Theme and Oxygen Icons, Noto fonts) I changed the General font from Noto Sans 8 to Arial 8, and the problem appeared immediately. As soon as I hit "Apply", Plasma tried to show a notification, and it froze.
