Bug ID: 400174 Summary: let's generate a manpage for kdeconnect-cli! Product: kdeconnect Version: 1.3.1 Platform: Debian unstable OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: nstee...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Hi Albert, Nico, and possibly other maintainers, Debian has an English language manpage for kdeconnect-cli in troff format: https://salsa.debian.org/qt-kde-team/extras/kdeconnect/blob/master/debian/kdeconnect-cli.1 This last summer I noticed that it was four years out of date https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=900710 I really don't like working with troff, internationalisation is obviously non-existent, and updates are currently a manual affair. It would also be really nice if they could be generated from existing strings and PO files as part of the release process! Would you please point me documentation or put me in touch with someone who would know how KDE/Plasma Desktop applications conventionally handle internationalised manpages?
